As 2024 comes to a close, we wanted to reflect back on this year’s climate COP that took place last month, as well as take a look at some of the campaigns we worked on this year to accelerate positive change.

As COP28 concludes we’re looking back at what happened in week 2. The second week of any COP is all about the landing the ‘final text’. And this year the focus of the text is on the first ‘Global Stocktake’.

This year, COP is in Dubai, sponsored by Coca Cola, and attended by a record number of (2400+) of fossil fuel lobbyists. But there is plenty happening at COP28 that gives us hope at MSQ/Sustain that we will change our course and remain within 1.5°C of warming.
